Composite Studios, LLC is a 4 year old US company co-owned by Sim Dietrich and Kurt Selden which created and launched Ancient Galaxy for the PC in June 2009.

Sim Dietrich oversees all technology functions including engine development. Sim co-designs the Ancient Galaxy Universe and fills in as an art designer.
Sim worked 7 years for NVIDIA. He managed the Developer Relations team developing and evangelizing real-time graphics techniques. He gave many well-received talks at GDC, XGDX, and NVIDIA events. His articles are published in Game Programming Gems and ShaderX book series.
While at NVIDIA, Sim initiated the ShaderFX project leading to the CgFX shader meta language. He also helped develop Cg, HLSL, and the DirectX9 .fx frameworks.
Sim is the sole inventor of the patent covering the popular '4xS' and '8xS' anti-aliasing techniques used in the GeForce product-line. Co-invented and perfected the current generation of smooth tangent space vectors derived from arbitrary texture-mapped geometry technology.
Kurt Selden

Kurt Selden oversees operational functions and quality assurance. Kurt co-designs the game and the RPG system. He is the level designer, the audio engineer, plus manages the marketing.
Kurt worked at MetLife and AT&T for 11 years in varied titles from marketing management, process engineering, finances, to technical development.
Kurt created and launched AT&T's Global Teleconference Service. Repackaged then successfully promoted AT&T's Web Meeting Service. Managed $50M of multi-year investments for a $500M business unit -developed plans, project managed deliverables, and evaluated results. He also solely developed a customer proposal and contract management application that automatically generated custom proposals and contracts.
